While Australia has the best trained Paramedics in the World, the average response time for an Ambulance in Metro areas is 13-14 minutes. You can make a difference by learning simple skills which will provide you with a better opportunity to save lives of family, friends, workmates and others. A current Provide First Aid competency is required to attain work in many industries.
Part 1 - Theory Workbook
A Theory Workbook must be completed prior to the commencement of the practical training day. (Please note. The workbook and course manual will not be issued until the course has been paid in full)
Part 2 - Practical Component
The one day practical component commences with a theory based session of basic first aid principals, then the remainder of the day consists of practical demonstration and training on bandaging, bleeding, trauma management, cardiac arrest and CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Response), plus a range of associated topics.
